Categories and Sourcing

Tree C.A.M act as a data controller by processing personal data.  It is unlikely this will include person sensitive data as categories of personal data collected, retained and processed by Tree C.A.M include and are often limited to contact name, address, site address, contact telephone number and email address.  Bank details are not a category of personal data that Tree C.A.M collect, retain or process.

Tree C.A.M receive personal data when personal data is submitted to treecam.co.uk via the contact form.  Personal data may also be collected by telephone and email correspondence between Tree C.A.M and clientele.  Tree C.A.M may be required to source data such as site addresses externally.

Processing

Tree C.A.M process personal data with legitimate interest and with the intention to provide services and may need to contact clients in support of providing services.  Tree C.A.M will not contact clients to send marketing information.

Tree C.A.M may be required to process personal data for the purpose of investigating, detecting and reporting crime and also to comply with any laws that apply; this may include demonstrating compliance with industry standards.

Third Parties

Tree C.A.M may be required to share data in the form of providing site address to relevant parties.  Such data will be securely destroyed on completion of the services.  Tree C.A.M will never share personal sensitive data with third parties.

Retention

Tree C.A.M retain personal data short-term and only for as long as is necessary for the purpose it was collect.  Tree C.A.M securely destroy personal data when it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected.  This includes email and text message correspondence.

Tree C.A.M retain personal data electronically and have security measures in place to protect the data and limit accessibility to persons of authority within Tree C.A.M.  Tree C.A.M also have a Firewall (security software) in place to protect internal information from the internet.

Social Media

Tree C.A.M enjoy communicating with customers via the Tree C.A.M Facebook page.  Tree C.A.M do not store any personal information from these interactions outside of that platform unless Tree C.A.M receive a booking this way; the information is then covered as outlined above.

Google Analytics

When someone visits treecam.co.uk we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.  We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site.  This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone.  Tree C.A.M does not make, and does not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Cookies

Tree C.A.M may obtain data about you from cookies through our website treecam.co.uk.  These are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit.  They are widely used in order to make websites work or work more efficiently.  Cookies also enable us to deliver more personalised content.  Most web browsers allow some control of most cookies through the browser settings.  Please note that in a few cases some of our website features may not function if you remove cookies from your browser.

Our website treecam.co.uk may contain links to external websites.  Please be aware that Tree C.A.M is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites and it is encouraged that you read the privacy statements of every website that collects personal data.

Your Rights
